Lululemon Mother’s Day Run

Come out and join the friendly folks at Lululemon Athletica for an early morning social run through our beautiful river parks.  This free event is not a timed race or official event, but rather a chance for the San Marcos running community to get together.  The run starts on Sunday, May 13 at 8 a.m. from Core Running Company and runs through Rio Vista Park, Children’s Park, City Park, and turns around in Sewell Park.  What a great way to kick off Mother’s Day!

Egg Hunt Trail Run Event

Great weather and a great turn out made this year’s Egg Hunt Trail Run a great success.  Egg hunters searched a slightly soggy Spring Lake Preserve for nearly 100 hidden eggs.  I’m pretty sure they found them all!  Thanks to all the egg hunters, and thanks to Paula, Margaret and Laura for putting everything together.  It was a great event!

Race Report: Purgatory Trail Race

David Moody, and CRC, yet again put on another great trail run for the 6th year in a row. Over 150 people registered, which is the largest registration the race has ever seen!

David generously donated proceeds to the San Marcos High School Cross Country Boosters.

We, as a running community, are fortunate to have CRC as a supportive local business here in town. Let’s not forget that! It wouldn’t be San Marcos without Core Running. Keep supporting the store!
