Can’t get enough SMRC in your normal week? We’ve got the solution—in addition to our weekly Thursday evening runs, beginning Tuesday May 30, 2023, SMRC also will meet at Zelicks on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm for a new Tuesday evening summer run. Come hungry—Tuesday also is steak night at Zelicks.

Thursday June 1 through august 10, the San Marcos Runners Club weekly Thursday night run will move to Plaza Park to coincide with the San Marcos Summer in the Park concert series!

Meet at Plaza Park near the mermaid to stake out a spot for the concert and drop our chairs/blankets/coolers, then at 6:30 pm we will run or walk 3 miles along the river (you also can do more or less distance). Afterwards, you can take a dip in the cool waters to refresh, and then hang out to enjoy the concert. Music begins at 7:30 pm. This is a picnic atmosphere, so you are welcome to bring food and your favorite beverages (alcohol is allowed within the park area).
