San Marcos Runners Club

Thursday June 1 through august 10, the San Marcos Runners Club weekly Thursday night run will move to Plaza Park to coincide with the San Marcos Summer in the Park concert series!

Meet at Plaza Park near the mermaid to stake out a spot for the concert and drop our chairs/blankets/coolers, then at 6:30 pm we will run or walk 3 miles along the river (you also can do more or less distance). Afterwards, you can take a dip in the cool waters to refresh, and then hang out to enjoy the concert. Music begins at 7:30 pm. This is a picnic atmosphere, so you are welcome to bring food and your favorite beverages (alcohol is allowed within the park area).

We meet at Zelicks Icehouse at 336 W Hopkins St, San Marcos, TX 78666 for our Thursday Club Run at 6pm. Please check our Facebook page for the most recent information. We usually run/walk about 3 miles; there are options for more or less distance. Run or walk at your own speed; all paces are welcome. After the run, stay to socialize with fellow runners (and snack on complimentary apps!) at the best little icehouse in Texas. Be sure to run fast—Zelicks happy hour ends at 7pm.
